Get answers to common questions about Galvanic Facial W/Dermaplaning.
Most skin types benefit from Galvanic Facial W/Dermaplaning, including dull, dry, and aging skin. Sensitive, acne-inflamed, or those with certain medical conditions may need a consultation first. We assess skin and recommend modifications or alternative treatments if necessary.
A full session typically lasts 60 to 75 minutes, including consultation, cleansing, dermaplaning, galvanic treatment, serum application and post-care. Timing varies based on skin concerns and any add-ons like masks or extractions.
You’ll experience gentle exfoliation and a mild tingling from the galvanic device; treatment is comfortable and virtually painless. Your specialist will explain each step, tailor serums, and finish with soothing products to calm and hydrate the skin.
There is minimal downtime—most clients return to normal activities immediately. You may notice temporary redness or increased sensitivity for 24–48 hours; avoid heavy sun exposure, harsh products, and exfoliants until skin calms.
Immediate smoothness and radiance are visible after one treatment, while improvements in texture and fine lines accumulate over multiple sessions. For lasting results, schedule treatments every 4–6 weeks and follow recommended skincare at home.
Contraindications include active acne cysts, open wounds, recent chemical peels, certain implants or pacemakers, and pregnancy in some cases. Always disclose medications and medical history so our therapist can determine safety and appropriate alternatives.
