Most appointments last 60–90 minutes, including consultation, custom color formulation, application, processing and conditioning. Short hair usually reduces application time, but factors like previous color, desired change and corrective work can extend the session.

Permanent single-process color often provides excellent gray coverage, but results depend on hair texture, porosity and amount of gray. We evaluate during consultation and may adjust formula or recommend a targeted root application for fuller coverage.

Arrive with hair free of heavy styling products and bring photos of desired shades. Avoid washing hair the same day if you have a sensitive scalp; disclose recent chemical treatments for safe, accurate color formulation.

Color longevity varies by hair porosity, aftercare and sun exposure, but expect vibrant results for 4–8 weeks. Using color-safe products and minimizing heat styling helps maintain tone between salon touch-ups or gloss appointments.

Single-process color has limited lift; subtle lightening is possible depending on your natural level. Dramatic lightening typically requires bleaching or staged sessions. We recommend an in-salon consultation to determine the safest approach.

Use sulfate-free shampoo, rinse with cool water, limit heat styling, and protect hair from UV exposure. Incorporate a color-safe conditioner and occasional color-refresh gloss to extend vibrancy and maintain healthy short-length results.
