Get answers to common questions about Half Legs Waxing.

Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can reduce regrowth rate and leave hair finer over time, extending smoothness between appointments.

Exfoliate gently a day or two before and ensure hair is about a quarter inch long. Avoid heavy moisturizers, recent tanning or blood-thinning medications and arrive with clean, dry skin.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first treatments, but pain is brief. Experienced therapists use warm wax and calming techniques; topical numbing or breath work can help sensitive clients.

Hair should be roughly 5 to 7 millimetres (about a quarter inch). If hair is too short waxing won't grab it, and if too long we can trim slightly for a smoother result.

Mild redness, bumps or sensitivity can occur for a few hours to a day. Apply soothing gel, avoid hot baths and sun exposure, and contact us if irritation persists.

Avoid waxing over sunburned, broken or inflamed skin. For sensitive skin we recommend a patch test and gentler wax options; consult your therapist to determine suitability.
